McCartney dedicated the song to his wife, Linda, who had helped him get through the break-up of the Beatles.A live performance by McCartney's later band Wings from the live album Wings over America, a recording of the band's 1975–1976 Wings Over the World tour, was released as a single. It became a top-ten hit in the United States and reached number 28 in the United Kingdom. The original studio version from McCartney has never been released as a single.
