Morrocoy National Park is located in the easternmost coast of Falcón state and northwestern of , in the west central Venezuelan coast, near the towns of Boca de Aroa, Tucacas, Sanare, Chichiriviche, Flamenco and Tocuyo de la Costa, and consists of 12,990 hectares (32,090 acres). It was declared a national park on May 26, 1974 by Executive Order No. 113, Official Gazette No. 30408 on May 27, 1974.

Národní park Morrocoy (španělsky Parque nacional Morrocoy) byl zřízen jako chráněné území na pobřeží zálivu ve Venezuele. Nachází se u města ve státě , 140 km západně od Caracasu. Má rozlohu 320,9 km². K národnímu parku patří ostrovy Punta Brava, Cayo Sombrero, Cayo Playuela a další. Oblíbenou lokalitou pro sportovní potápění jsou Los Juanes. Na pobřeží se nachází také Jeskyně Panny Marie, která je poutním místem. Nejvyšším bodem je Cerro Chichiriviche s 285 m n. m. Teploty se pohybují mezi 23 °C a 35 °C. V roce 2020 byla oblast zasažena ropou, která unikla z rafinerie . El Parque nacional Morrocoy es un parque nacional ubicado en el litoral más oriental del estado Falcón y en el noroeste del Golfo Triste; en la costa centro occidental venezolana, cerca de las poblaciones de , Tucacas, , Chichiriviche, y Tocuyo de la Costa. Fue declarado parque nacional el 26 de mayo de 1974 y consta de 32.090 ha. En el relieve destacan el cerro Morrocoy, con elevaciones de 250 msnm; el conjunto de ensenadas y manglares internos y los cayos e islas. Il Parque Nacional Morrocoy è un Parco Nazionale ubicato nello Stato di Falcón, nel nordest del Venezuela.Istituito nel 1974, copre un'area complessiva di 32.090 ettari.Il parco si estende sulla terraferma, nella costa del e comprende anche diverse isole ed atolli corallini e "cayos", fra le quali: Pelón, Sombrero, Sal, Playuela.
