He made his debut through the Mob's 2012 mixtape, Lord$ Never Worry, released that August.On August 20, 2013, Ferg released his solo debut album, Trap Lord, which received critical praise and debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200, #2 on the Rap Albums chart and #13 on the Tastemakers Albums chart.In late 2014, the rapper released his mixtape, Ferg Forever, exclusively for DatPiff.com, which contained the viral hit, %22Doe-Active%22.Since June 2014, ASAP Ferg dated Traci Braxton, the sister of award-winning songstress Toni Braxton. In December 2015, after 17 months of dating, ASAP Ferg and Traci Braxton had officially and briefly ended their relationship, due to several differences, conflicts, arguments, fighting and other relationship problems. This was shortly before the release of Ferg's single, %22New Level%22, which features fellow rapper Future (4).

| - Darold Ferguson, Jr. (born October 20, 1988), better known by his stage name ASAP Ferg (stylized as A$AP Ferg), is an American hip hop recording artist from New York City's Harlem neighborhood. He is a member of the hip hop collective ASAP Mob, from which he adopted his moniker. In January 2013, Ferg signed a solo record deal with Polo Grounds and RCA, the same labels that helped launch ASAP Worldwide, when Ferg's ASAP Mob cohorts ASAP Rocky and the late ASAP Yams, negotiated their own respective deal in 2011. His debut album Trap Lord was released on August 20, 2013, and was met with generally positive reviews.
