abstract
  • When they were close to ten years old, brothers Ewald and Arnold Coleske wrote their first song and started playing electric guitar. In 1994 they started recording other artists' albums in their home studio, and this experience contributed to the successful release of their eponimous debut album in 1996, winning a SAMA (South African Music Award) and achieving album sales in excess of 350 000 units across the world. %22Coleske%22 was released in 21 countries, went Double Platinum back home and sold well in Germany and Austria. Their style is described as something resembling Simon and Garfunkel, Bread, or America.
