abstract	Amal al-Mathlouthi (born 1982) is a Tunisian singer-songwriter known for her protest songs. In 2008, after the Tunisian Government banned her songs from the radio and TV she decieded to move to France. Her song %22Kilmiti ḥurra (My Word Is Free)%22 became one of the anthems of the Tunisian revolution in 2011.
