  • Marshall Grant (born May 5, 1928, Byson City, North Carolina, USA – died August 7, 2011, Jonesboro, Arkansas, USA) was an American bassist, road manager and artist manager. He was a member of [a135946]'s backing band [a439538] which in 1960, with the addition of drummer [a386089], became [a508982]. Grant also served as road manager for Cash and his touring show company. He was fired from the group in the late 1970's, following an argument with Cash. Grant then went on to manage [a252797] until their retirement in 2002.
