Backed by synthesisers and keyboards, it is an house-influenced dance track. The lyrics revolve around love at first sight, hence the title.%22Love at First Sight%22 received mostly positive reviews from music critics, some who highlighted the track as an album stand-out and commended the production. However, some critics noted the sonic comparison to other disco-inspired tracks including French group Stardust's %22Music Sounds Better With You%22 (July 1998). It peaked at number three and two on the Australian Singles Chart and the UK Singles Chart, respectively. It was a commercial success in several countries including Canada, Ireland, Spain, New Zealand, Denmark and Italy.
