Fylkingen - New Music and Intermedia Art is an artist-run venue and member based organisation committed to contemporary experimental performing arts. Over 300 artists from various disciplines use the space to develop and present new work.Today Fylkingen represents a wide field of artistic practices, including EAM (electro acoustic music), dance, performance art, video art, improvisation music, sound art, etc. It also produces and distributes recorded material through its own label Fylkingen Records since 1966. It is also from the same year that Fylkingen started to publish its own periodicals intermittently.

  • Fylkingen är en svensk förening för experimentell musik och konst i huvudsak bestående av utövande konstnärer. Den är baserad i Stockholm, grundades år 1933 och är en av världens äldsta i sitt slag. Fylkingen startade som en kammarmusikförening men har under åren utvecklat sin verksamhet mot nya experimentella och oetablerade former av samtida konst och musik. Sedan 1987 har Fylkingen sina lokaler och sin scen i Münchenbryggeriet i Stockholm och blev i och med flytten grannar med EMS. Föreningen har även ett skivbolag, .
