Immigration to Colombia during the early 19th and late 20th Century, What makes it one of the most diverse countries in the world, above other countries in the Latin region. De acuerdo al censo realizado en el año 2018, la población censada que indicó que nació en otro país fue de 963 492, correspondientes al 2,18% del total de la población,​ fluctuando entre el 0,16% para el departamento del Chocó y el 8,35% en el departamento de Arauca, este último fronterizo con Venezuela.​
