The Silverstone 24 Hour was a sports car race in endurance racing, held annually at Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom until 2018. The race was originally organised by Britcar. The 2009 race was shortened to 500 miles due to the recession. In the 2010 race it was the first time they used the new Arena Circuit, previously they used the Bridge Grand Prix Circuit. The 2013 edition was shortened to 1000 km. For 2015 the race was called the Dunlop 24hr at Silverstone for sponsorship reasons.

Es wird auch als der Nachfolger der Willhire 24h angesehen, da es seit dessen letzter Austragung 1994 kein 24-Stunden-Rennen mehr in Großbritannien gab.Die Länge einer Runde betrug von 2005 bis 2009 5,141 km (3,195 Meilen). Seit dem Umbau 2010 beträgt die Länge einer Runde 5,890 km (3,660 Meilen) bzw. 5,901 km (3,667 Meilen).Das Qualifying zum Rennen findet freitags statt und besteht aus einer Tag- und einer Nachtsession. Die Tagsession startet um die Mittagszeit, die Nachtsession gegen Abend. Vor dem Rennen gibt es morgens ein Warm-up, bevor nachmittags das Rennen beginnt.
