Thy (Danish pronunciation: [ˈtsʰyˀ], local dialect [ˈtʰyi̯kʲʰ]) is a traditional district in northwestern Jutland, Denmark. It is situated north of the Limfjord, facing the North Sea and Skagerrak, and has a population of around 44,000. The capital is Thisted. Snedsted, Hanstholm and Hurup are minor towns in the area.

  • Thy ist eine historische Landschaft und der westliche Teil der Insel Vendsyssel-Thy, die nördlich des Limfjordes den Norden Dänemarks bildet. Im westlichen Teil von Thy wurde 2007 vom dänischen Umweltministerium der erste Nationalpark Dänemarks eingerichtet. Die offizielle Einweihung des Nationalparks Thy erfolgte am 22. August 2008.

Strandbältet utmed Skagerrak och Nordsjön utgörs av dyner ("klitter") och sandhedar.
