He was previously the lead singer, bassist, and lyricist for the pop punk band Midtown.Cobra Starship is signed to the Decaydance record label. The band Cobra Starship released their second album ¡Viva La Cobra! on October 23, 2007. Their third album, Hot Mess, was released on August 11, 2009, and debuted at #4 on Billboard 200 albums chart with sales of more than 42,000.
