British bassist, manager and studio owner, born February 27, 1954, died April 12, 2007. Actively involved in the music scene since the late 70', co-founder of the rock group Hi Fi in 1977 and released the solo single 'Chakanoori Tango' after the band split up in 1982. Played bass guitar in the rock group Mungo Jerry alongside is brother Steve in the 80'. Byron operated the recording studio Hitt Studios together with his brother in London. He is also known as 'Uncle B' and is the father of Dino 'Dappy' Contostavlos and the uncle of singer Tula 'Tulisa' Contostavlos both members of the group N-Dubz.
